The Angel Company Catalog Open House Today
I'm so excited to finally be having my TAC Fall/Winter Catalog Open House this evening. If you are in the area, please stop by. It starts at 5:30 and will wrap up around 7:30. We are doing two make-n-takes and I will be giving away two stamp sets for door prizes. If you don't have a catalog, you MUST stop by and pick one up. TAC has truly outdone themselves with this one!

Christmas Ornament Tin
Here is another project I made for my open house. I took the tin from seminar and jazzed it up a bit. I used the new warm and rich Amelia papers to make a mini book Christmas ornament for my daughter's tree. I used Stazon to stamp on the front (MM stamp because I didn't have a TAC one that small). Then I used the Coluzzle Circle to cut out the circles and the 2x2 pics I had printed at http://www.scrapbookpictures.com/. I used layers of pop-dots to pop up the last circle so the book wouldn't "sink" down in there too far. I took the ribbon from the ornaments we made at seminar and used that to attach the pages together, sandwiching the ribbon between the circles. It sounds complicated, but this came together in less than 30 minutes. Enjoy!

My Newest Toy!
For months, I have been wanting a new trimmer. I have the purple Fiskars Euro and it's okay but the blades go dull on it so fast. I also have "ole gray" but he doesn't cut straight anymore.
Anyhoo, I have been doing some research online and pretty much decided to go with the Making Memories trimmer shown here. Then I was working at the scrapbook store the other day(Scrapbook Castle in Alton--see link at right) and a friend that I haven't seen for years came in and she had one. I tried it and I was hooked. Thanks Ashley for ordering it for me. It's awesome!
I know it is upside down in the picture but I am right-handed and that's how I use it. The best part (besides it cutting super straight and tiny little slivers perfectly) is that I don't ever have to buy a new blade for it. It's self-sharpening. Yay! And I love the sleek black and silver design so much that I won't mind if it's sitting out on my dining room/scrap table.

On the Blog Bandwagon
Okay, okay, so I'm here too. :) I post my stuff on all kinds of groups, but I kind of like the idea of having it all in one spot. So here I am--blogging it up. I create almost everyday so I'll probably post a lot of pictures even if I don't say much. I hope you enjoy my stuff. Feel free to tell me so. I'm a stay-at-home mom so my five-year-old is usually the only one complimenting me. I'd love to here if you've copied something and let me see what you've done. I always love to see what others are up to, too. :) Heather
