Priceless

I didn't get a chance to scrapbook this weekend so here's one of my seminar layouts of my two favorite people, my sweet baby girl and my wonderful supportive hubby.

Hopefully I can get some new stuff up for you next weekend.

8x8 Class (Part 2)

Today I have been trying to do some catch up scrapping since I will be starting school on Monday. I know I won't have as much time (if any) to scrap so I will mostly be posting on the weekends. I have completed the layouts for part 2 of our 8x8 class for July, August, September, and October. A date will be set later.

Pretty Preschooler

In honor of my little girl starting kindergarten yesterday, I did her first day of school layout from 2006 (I work one year behind). The letter stamps are "Wild West Alphabet" from Stampin' Up! and the flower petals are "Loves Me, Loves Me Not" from Technique Tuesday. Sorry the scan is a little blurry. Isn't she so cute???

Ocean Buddies

This is a 12x12 version of one of my 8x8 pages. I wanted something easy I didn't have to think about today, so what's better than copying? I did use some retired Stampin' Up! alphabet stamps because I love the way they look like bubbles. Enjoy!

I've Created a Monster...and I'm Loving It!

My five-year-old daughter can't get enough of art. She draws, makes jewelry, scrapbooks, makes cards, I could go on and on. Here are some of her latest projects. I love my little stamper!

Purse Gift Card Holders

These are perfect to put a gift card in. Cut paper to 10.5 x 5.5. Score at 4.25. Fold over & score again to create purse flap. Use a ruler to draw a slanted line from bottom to top. Cut. Use scrap to create the same slant on the other side. Corner round bottom edges of purse (optional). Cut purse flap and decorate as desired. Finish with ribbon or fiber for the strap and a brad, eyelet, snap, or flower for purse clasp. Fun, fun, fun!

Bottlecap Jewelry (G-rated)

Here is some more fun with bottlecap jewelry--this time for my little one.

Beer Bottlecap Jewelry

Okay, so anybody who knows me well knows that I love my beer. I will only drink Michelob Ultra in bottles. So I have tons of these bottlecaps laying around. I decided to have some fun with bottlecap jewelry tonight. Now these aren't perfect but it shows that I don't always have to take myself so seriously. These will be a hit at family parties (except for my mom who will be rolling her eyes--love ya, Ma).

One Year Ago Today

This layout is from one year ago when we visited the City Museum. I used Mimi papers and the stamp set Truly Blessed. Thanks for visiting my blog!
